Souls in Darkness
This started as a Gothic styled collection of tracks I wrote when I was a wee lad. I really liked some of the songs and thought it would be fun to remake them in the new studio with new equipment. As I’ve worked on this project I’ve decided to write new material in the same genre. The collection of these tracks are located here.
Tape-Op Refugees
This project is taking forever to finish. It was slated to be a release through The Tic Tok Men but before the release the TTM project ended. At the moment there are a collection of tracks half recorded in multi-track. Some of the MIDI tracks need to be re-recorded and processed. This is a bit of effort and I’ve let this project slide for newer ideas.
At the end of the day, Tape-Op Refugees was to be an exploration into the sounds of the 70′s. Using some of the styles and recording concepts used in rock, disco and soul – with some fresh ideas sprinkled on top (like rap and content). I brought in a few extra people to help out with sections of these tracks.
